Ginte Zacharini is a creative brand offering pottery workshops, handmade ceramics and contemporary art. Every experience is thoughtfully designed to help people slow down, reconnect and celebrate the moment through creativity.
Sip & Ceramics workshop is a relaxed experience where you'll create your own ceramic snack plate from stoneware clay. You'll learn how to roll, shape and decorate your piece with underglazes before it's professionally glazed and kiln-fired, ready to collect approximately four weeks later. Perfect for beginners, our workshops combine creativity, conversation and mindful making in a welcoming atmosphere—no previous pottery experience needed.
Our pottery workshops take place in 2 locations:

No. Our pottery workshops are designed for complete beginners. You'll be guided step by step, making them ideal whether it's your first time working with clay or you're returning to creativity after many years.
Most pottery workshops last around two hours, giving you plenty of time to create, decorate, relax and enjoy the experience.
Real pottery, not craft clay.
Fired in a real kiln. You work with stoneware, the same clay professional potters use. After the class, your plate is fired in a kiln at high temperature, so it becomes hard, durable ceramic built to last for years.
Glazing done for you. You decorate your plate with underglazes on the night. Ginte then applies a professional glaze and fires it. That finish is something you can't get at home.
A plate you can actually use. Air-dry clay stays fragile, has to be sealed with varnish, and isn't safe for food. Your stoneware plate comes back ready to use for snacks, cheese or jewellery, and to be washed and used again.
Taught by a working ceramicist. Ginte is a professional artist whose ceramics and paintings are sold online and featured in the press. You're learning from someone who makes pottery for a living.
Everything included for £45: clay, tools, guidance, glazing, kiln firing and a welcome drink. Collect your finished piece about four weeks later.
Air-dry clay hardens on its own, but it stays fragile, needs varnishing, and can't be used with food. In our workshops you use real stoneware, which is professionally glazed and kiln-fired. You get a durable, finished ceramic piece you can use every day.
