A Slice of Life: From My First Sale to My Own Studio Space

I am delighted to share that my latest abstract landscape is currently on display as part of the Slice of Life exhibition right here in Leamington at Art Room Gallery.

For me, this piece represents a very specific and sacred "slice" of my daily routine: those quiet moments during a morning walk when the phone is switched off, the digital world is silenced, and I am fully present with the colors and textures of the land. It is a visual meditation on the clarity found in nature.

A Journey Shared

This exhibition feels particularly important because this marks my 22nd painting exhibited with this gallery. Looking back, this space has been the cornerstone of my career:

The Beginning: This is where I sold my very first painting.

A Creative Home: It continues to be the gallery where most of my work finds its forever homes.

Growth: Last August, I completed my first-ever residency here, a milestone that deepened my practice immensely. I have also started my workshops there last summer.

My connection to this space has evolved even further—I am now incredibly proud to have my permanent studio located here.

I am full of gratitude for this organization. There is something transformative about being surrounded by such supportive, like-minded people. To have a creative home that nurtures artists from their first sale to their daily practice is rare, and I feel so lucky to be a part of this community.
